2nd at the A.A.I.
Hey Folks,
just came back from the Andri Ambühl Invitational in Arosa and I have to say it was a great weekend!
I drove to Arosa friday night together with Jussi Mononen after having a great day shredding in Mayrhofen!
Saturday we woke up to perfect weather and went straight up to the mountain.
The kicker was in perfect shape and after 1,5h of practise on the PERFECT jump the qualification´s were on! After three runs, one style, one tech and one jump of the riders choice 8 people made it to finals!
After a little wind came up we decided to change the format to two jumps, one style and one tech, both of them count!
So one little mistake could cost u the win...
Everybody was still throwing down hard and a lot of sw 9´s sw 10´s forward 10´s and flat 5´s were seen from a lot of the riders rider´s! In the end my good friend Mike Hauser came 6th with a massive sw 7 japan for style and a forward cork 10 tail, were he sketched out a little in the landing because of his massive amplutide.
Mike going big!
In 5th place it was the swiss Silvan Jäger who showed a nice flat 5 japan and a sw 9 nose followed directly in 4th by Cyrill Hunziker!
Jussi Mononen took 3rd place and his first podium of the season by showing what he can do best in skiing a huge cork 3 japan styled out until the end and a massive cork 9 reverse tail!

Jussi doing what he does best! cork 3 japan!
In the end it was down to Elias and me after scoring a 91.33 on my first cork 7 blunt and beating Elias in the Style createria everything was down on the final jump!
I went big with a sw dub cork 9 mute stomping everything clean, while Elias boosted a forward dub cork 10 mute taking him the win by just a few points!
Elias mid dub 10
me corking my 7 blunt to the max.
So I ended up in 2nd position which I´m really stoked about!
I have to say a huge thank you to Andri who straight is the man by offering one of the best jumps I have ever hit!
